Orestes and Pylades at the beach (IV)
The sight of the two princes standing close to each other at the beach, enjoying the vista of the Sea of Corinth and their intense love, captures the spirit of what love between men in Antiquity was all about. In ancient Greece love between men -both spiritually and physically- was considered of a higher level than love between man and woman. Male nudity and beauty also was accepted as most natural and exemplary for youths to gain a noble virtue in life.
In this highly intimate image, Pylades clings tightly to the massive thigh of his beloved Orestes, leaning his head passionately on the firm athletic buttock of his giant friend. Orestes embraces this passionate love by gently holding Pylades' shoulder and encouraging him to express his overwhelming love. Feeling the hand of his friend clamped between his strong upper legs, slowly moving upwards to his sweaty buttcrack makes him experience an increasing longing to have his cousin touch and stroke his private parts unrestrainedly, and feel him climb all over his muscular body. At the same time, without speaking out his love, Pylades cannot but recall over and over again the spectacular sight of Orestes impressive manhood. Yet, he is still somewhat shy to follow his intense love and strong impulses to touch, handle, and press to his face this magnificent monument of nature and untamable virility. Never in his life has he seen a man's privates more beautiful or desirable. In spite of his fear for the physical force of his lover, he remains intensely drawn towards this mighty, manly and massive masterpiece of penetration and bliss. Holding on to this gigantic object of his love is something which fills his whole being with the desire to be a part of his strength and noble spirit forever.
