Ajax of Salamis (I)

After several hours of intense combat training, Prince Ajax comes back to his father's summer palace near Iliakti to take an open-air bath before having lunch. While each soldier is usually attended by one slave -all belonging to King Telamon- because of his high rank and huge size Prince Ajax is permitted to use a full crew of seven slaves. In fact, at merely 16 years old, the young Prince is already more than 10 cubits tall (15 ft, or 4.5 m)  and his weight equals that of  twenty of the King's biggest soldiers.  

Ajax is cheerfully welcomed by the slaves, which immediately apply themselves to help their Master with his cape, helmet, and sandals. Then, the Prince enters the Royal Sacral Pool -whose water the slaves cannot even touch, as it becomes impure upon contact with their skin- and, after a few refreshing moments, he gets out to be further comforted by his always-smiling expecting servants.
